Is this the same as “business days”?

Not exactly. This tool excludes weekends only. It does not exclude public holidays. For that, use a dedicated business days calculator.

Does DST affect the result?

No. Dates are normalized to avoid DST issues where a day can be 23 or 25 hours.

What if my end date is before the start date?
